OFFER DESCRIPTION

HERA (Health and Environment Research Agenda) is an ambitious program (Coordination and Support Action) funded by the European Commission with the objective of proposing a European research agenda for 2020-2030 in the fields of Environment, Climate and Health. Its expected duration is three years (https://www.heraresearcheu.eu/). Inserm is coordinating this project, which includes 23 European partners. The first step is to identify the research needs identified by the stakeholders (European and national public institutions, companies, NGOs, etc.), the knowledge gaps identified by the major networks and research institutes in the field, and thus establish an agenda proposing the themes and tools that are critical to make progress in this field. This agenda will need to be aligned with the goals of sustainable development as set out by WHO and ministerial meetings.

OBERON (an integrative strategy of testing systems for identification of EDs related to metabolic disorders) is an interdisciplinary international scientific project, which plan to build an integrated testing strategy (ITS) to detect endocrine disrupting chemicals-related metabolic disorders by developing, improving and validating a battery of test systems (https://oberon-4eu.com/). Inserm is also coordinating this H2020 project, that involves 11 European partners for a duration of 5 years (2019-2023). OBERON is part of the cluster EURION that was established to optimize synergies and avoid overlaps between the eight projects selected for funding from the call SC1-BHC-27-2018 ‘New testing and screening methods to identify endocrine disrupting chemicals.
