Mention of scientists from the Czech Institute of Biophysics participation in OBERON

A short description of OBERON and participation of the Institute of Biophysics CAS in the project has been published in the Czech popular science magazine Vesmír (2020; vol. 99, issue 10, p. 600), in Czech. This one-page summary provides a short description of endocrine disruption, indicates major groups of contaminants suspected to act as metabolic disruptors, describes consortium of research teams and institutions participating in OBERON, under leadership of INSERM, and also shortly mentions the EURION cluster. Lastly, development of in vitro models for liver steatosis is described, including an image describing potential mechanisms contributing to steatogenic effects of chemicals in the liver tissue.
